Musical Comedies provide a tribute to bygone days of old Hollywood when many musicals were the top-of-the-line productions. Can be musical performances, music as a character or set in a music-infused environment.
Feature length motion pictures range from 60 to 120 minutes. Independent projects made without studio financing are considered "Bare Bones" and is a major festival category .
Comedy is in the eyes of the beholder. May be a belly laugh out loud or a silent chuckle. The intent is to lighten the mood and look on the funny side of things.
Films shot in the state of Oklahoma are featured in this block. May be a mix of features, shorts, documentaries or music videos and student films.
